A New York City based staple known for its welcoming atmosphere and endless veggie options, Westville has grown from our small West Village location to 11 busy restaurants. Managing experience is required. Candidates must be team oriented, professional, have a passion for hospitality, and able to work efficiently. Looking to interview and begin training ASAP! Some responsibilities of a manager are but are not limited to: -Ensure guests receive excellent customer service at all times and ensure that customers are greeted warmly, seated promptly, and served efficiently. -Resolving customer complaints or issues in a professional and satisfactory manner. -Ensure that restaurant service and quality standards are constantly met -Overseeing the front-of-house staff, ensuring they adhere to standards of service, appearance, and conduct -Serving as a liaison between front-of-house staff and management, relaying important information and ensuring that everyone is on the same page regarding policies, procedures, and special promotions - Maintaining a positive and productive relationship with the culinary team - Providing training to new employees and ongoing coaching to existing staff to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities and can perform them effectively -Assist restaurant management in developing and implementing core business and marketing plans -Get acquainted with daily specials menu - Toast POS Knowledge -Perform restaurant opening and closing activities - Oversee shift transitions, handle cash-out procedures, and ensure readiness for the next service Experience In order to work as a Manager at Westville you should have a minimum of 1 year of proven experience as a manager in a fast paced, dining service restaurant.
