This role is critical to maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our back-of-house kitchen operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, trustworthy, and takes pride in a sparkling clean kitchen. This position focuses on early mornings, late-night shifts after service, and Sunday deep cleaning. Key Responsibilities: • Perform detailed cleaning of all kitchen areas, including prep stations, cooking equipment, walk-ins, walls, floors, drains, and storage areas. • Sanitize and disinfect surfaces according to health and safety regulations. • Maintain cleanliness of hood vents, grease traps, and other high-use equipment. • Empty, clean, and reline trash and recycling bins. • Restock cleaning supplies and alert management when inventory is low. • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard after service or before operations begin. • Support with additional deep cleaning projects on Sunday afternoons. Requirements: • Previous cleaning or janitorial experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen setting preferred. • Ability to work early mornings (5–10am) and/or late nights (after 10pm), and Sunday afternoons or all day Monday.
