We are an interior design studio based in Petaluma, CA known for creating personal, livable interiors with an emphasis on craftsmanship, creativity and timeless details. We work on residential projects, often overseeing both design and implementation with care. We’re looking for a thoughtful, highly organized, and experienced Interior Design Assistant to support our growing studio. RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to): ​​- Support the principal designer through all phases of design, from concept to installation. - Prepare and maintain project documentation (presentations, moodboards, finish & material schedules, orders, budgets, etc) - Communicate with vendors, showrooms, and trades for quotes, order tracking, coordinating deliveries, and gathering information as needed. - Assist with product research and inspired sourcing of furnishings, lighting, accessories, fixtures, finishes, and material options. - Prepare detailed furniture and construction plans, elevations, millwork details, and drawing sets in AutoCAD, according to standard practice. - Occasionally travel to project sites, showrooms, or warehouses. QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or related fields is preferred. - Proficiency in the following: Google platform, Canva, Asana or other task management software, Dropbox. - Minimum 2+ years of interior design work experience. - Proficient level of AutoCAD experience (minimum 2+ years is preferred). - Must have a strong attention to detail. - Works well both independently and on a team. - Energetic, passionate, focused, and excited about helping our studio grow. - Highly organized with proven ability to prioritize and multi-task. - Valid Driver's License, reliable car, and car insurance required to run errands and pick up/return items. Mileage is reimbursed. - Candidates must be either a U.S. citizen or have a valid employment visa to work in the U.S. and be located in Bay Area, California. - Ability to lift 30 pounds. BONUS POINTS: - 3D rendering skills (CAD, Sketchup or other) - Experience with Studio Designer, Design Files or other product management software, Photoshop. We specialize in design and print for Christian churches around North America. We design all of the print products one would see from the parking lot all the way into the sanctuary and beyond. We specialize in fabric banners, but make yard signs, interior way finding signs, and many other products as well. We are currently looking to fill an in person position to help with making several of our sign products. Having previously worked in a sign facility would be preferred. We're shipping products daily Mon-Thurs. Having some computer graphic knowledge is extremely helpful and understanding photoshop is even better. But this role is to help get our products from print to ship. Key Responsibilities • Quality control on all digital print files. • Operate roll to roll printers (training for our machines will be handled in house.
