Description

We seek a qualified Direct Support Professional to join our compassionate and reliable care team up to 34 hours a week, Saturday through Wednesday. This person will play an important role in maintaining a consistent, safe and high quality life for our client. You will join a well managed and cohesive care team where flexibility, resourcefulness, and professionalism are valued. We hire through DSP agencies (Rever Grand, Rise, Connections NW etc.) as well as through Lane County for those already certified as a Personal Support Worker. The pay scale is set by these agencies and ranges from $18/hr to $24/hr, includes mileage reimbursement for transportation services. Regular duties will be to support the client's independence for activities of daily living (cooking, budgeting, household chores) and modeling good social skills and positive communication. (No bathing or hygiene care required.) Prior experience with adults experiencing autism or other intellectual or developmental disabilities is required. If you are dependable, kind-hearted, have reliable transportation and looking for a rewarding position where your skills as a supportive caregiver are valued, we want to hear from you.
