Youth League Tennis (YLT) was created by Laura Kassirer, a former Wimbledon player, so all kids can learn and compete with players of equal level in their own community. YLT is open to kids ages 5-14, beginner through intermediate players. • Goal: To grow the game of tennis by getting kids to actually play the game of tennis as quickly as possible; introduce families to local quality tennis pros, and help kids get ready to play High School tennis. YLT runs 8 week sessions in the Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. We are looking to hire tennis coaches ages 18 and older to teach back-to-back groups of kids for our 8 week, Fall session, starting on Sept 27 and 28 at: •Bernardo Heights Middle School, San Diego, CA 92128 on Saturday mornings •Canyon Crest Academy, San Diego, CA 92130 on Sunday mornings •Miramar College/Hourglass Park, San Diego, CA 92125 on Sunday afternoons Additional jobs may be available throughout California. All coaches are hired as part time employees and if driving more than 20 minutes each way, we compensate for drive time as well, by reimbursing $5 per 20 minute drive to a site. • Assistant Coaches are paid: $30/hour - $35/hour depending upon experience We are looking for reliable, positive, personable, engaging, energetic individuals who want to help grow the game of tennis and enjoy working with kids.
