Special Education Math Teacher

The MRDC Bus Driver provides safe bus transportation for Head Start children, assuring that each child is picked up and delivered on schedule daily. Bus Drivers: Transport assigned children to and from Head Start centers efficiently and safely. Ensure that all passengers wear seat belts or are placed in appropriate (age or weight) car seats and belted in. Ensure that any behavioral issues do not compromise the safety of any child on the bus. Ensure that each child is delivered to the care of a responsible adult (on the authorized list) upon leaving the bus. Ensure that no child is ever left unattended while on the bus, following all procedures put in place to prevent a child being left behind. Visually observe the health of each child on the bus. Collaborate with Site Supervisor and families to design efficient bus routes. Requirements Must have, at a minimum, a high school diploma or a GED. Must have current CDL with Bus and Passenger endorsements. Must have a clean driving record. Must successfully complete a D.O.T annual physical, and a physical with TB test. Must pass a criminal background check in MD and surrounding states. Who You Are: Our ideal candidate will have cafe / restaurant management experience and a bachelor's or master's degree in education, psychology, counseling, nursing, social work, behavioral medicine, speech & language, rehabilitation, marriage and family therapy, or a comparable human services field. Ideally our candidate would have experience working with disabled individuals and a passion for mentoring young adults in a supportive environment. What You'll Do: This role combines hands-on cafe management with vocational training. The Cafe Manager will oversee daily operation of the cafe, ensuring high-quality service, and working closely with the Head of Vocational Programs to teach our students essential skills for working in a cafe setting. This role can be full time which will include 85% company-paid health insurance.
