Preschool Afternoon teacher (Mid-city/West Adams)

We are seeking a passionate Dance Instructor/instructors in Hip Hop and Creative Movement to join our team starting our Fall 2025. The candidate needs to enjoy working with children/teens/adults in a diverse background and enjoy an environment with various art forms. Duties: - Develop and implement age-appropriate dance lessons - Instruct students on proper dance techniques and routines - Create a positive and inclusive learning environment - Provide feedback to students to help them improve their skills - Foster Creativity and develop choreography for recitals - Collaborate with other instructors to plan performances - Stay current on trends in dance education and incorporate new styles into lessons or interested in continuing education experiences -Some admin duties Requirements: - BFA in Dance preferred or extensive dance experience - Must have reliable transportation - Must be self-reliable and self-motivated - Able to work well with beginner through advance levels. - Previous experience working with children and teens is preferred. - Knowledge of childhood development principles or willingness to learn. - Ability to educate and engage students effectively or willingness to learn - Familiarity with theater or the performance arts a plus - Computer skills/knowledge This position offers the opportunity to inspire young and older dancers, contribute to their artistic growth, and be part of a creative team dedicated to providing quality dance education. Classes will be held once or twice per month on a recurring basis. I'm looking for a tutor to come in home to tutor my 13-year-old son in math. He is very behind as he did not receive a lot of direct instruction in the last couple years due to school non-compliance and inability to be in the classroom. Primarily due to anxiety He's very behind in his math skills at this point. He is smart and capable of learning and incorporating knowledge but he has difficulty attending class and being in the classroom setting and therefore has missed much instruction. No diagnosed learning disabilities other than what he is affected by due to his anxiety I am thinking three sessions one hour a week start at our home . Maybe half hour sessions to start . I'm unsure of how to format it but I'm thinking using the same textbooks that are being used in the school with the hopes perhaps he can transition back into classroom at school I would still want to continue tutoring at home.
