This part-time, school-year role is a great opportunity to grow your skills, build relationships with youth, and work on a fun, supportive team. Seasonal staff help create safe, inclusive environments where kids can explore, connect, and thrive. This position primarily supports our programs based in the La Pine and Sunriver area. Responsibilities ● Plan and implement weekly curriculum and activities schedule with other team members ● Create daily schedules taking into account children’s age groups and interests ● Lead FUN recreational and educational activities through play, games, and explorations ● Set up and maintain equipment ● Assist children with conflicts using emotion coaching and NVC ● Respond to the developmental needs of the children ● Provide opportunities to meet the social emotional, physical, and cognitive needs of the children ● Maintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment for children and staff ● Perform first aid or take care of injuries as needed ● Keep accurate incident logs and documentation ● Be available: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 2PM - 6PM & Monday, Wednesday 1PM - 6pm, as well as a handful of 8 hour days during school breaks, and training.
