Little Elephant Montessori School is looking for an Afternoon Teacher to begin immediately. This position is a part time position working with children ages 2-6 years old. Hours are Monday-Friday, 10am - 6 p.m. If you have the right attitude and great passion to work with little kids, this is the right place to be! Qualified candidates * Have a minimum of 6 ECE units including: Child Development, Family, Child, and Community, and Curriculum for Early Childhood. * Must provide official transcript and diplomas. * Fluent in English: reading, writing, and speaking - be comfortable speaking with parents. * Prefer Montessori classroom experience and willingness to learn Montessori practices and philosophy. * Must have prior preschool teaching experience * Have a warm and engaging personality and ability to relate to children. * Must be willing and able to toilet train and change diapers. * Have CPR certification/First Aid Training. * Must pass a Live- Scan fingerprint and criminal background check. * Must be authorized to work in the US. * Have current TB test and current Health Report. * Will need to provide 3 professional references.
