In the computer lab, you will oversee/scaffold and teach 5-8 students in typing programs, power points, research projects, IXL, math games, etc. Under the guidance of the Head Teacher, the aide will help facilitate daily classroom operations and provide hands-on support to students with mild special needs. The class includes 10–12 students with mild autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and occasional oppositional behaviors. A strong aide is one who can form authentic connections, maintain a structured and therapeutic approach, and support each child with positivity and patience.
