Position Title: Space Sensitive Activities Technician Company: ACT1 Federal Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado About ACT1: Delivering mission-critical solutions and industry-leading talent to advance the missions of the partners, organizations, and communities we serve. Job Description: ACT1 is seeking a dynamic and engaging Senior, advanced-skills, professional to join our growing team. In this role, you will be augmenting government staff to support operations and train U.S. Space Force members, via development and delivery of impactful training programs which empower personnel to execute the command’s operational requirements. The client anticipates in-depth knowledge and understanding of technical communications and related tradecraft methodology necessary to address sensitive activities mission requirements. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain engaging and informative training materials: Create presentations, interactive lesson modules, videos, quizzes, tests and practical exercises with supporting grading criteria deploying a wide variety of training methods. Tailor lesson content for different audiences (e.g., general employees, IT staff, executives) and learning styles. Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions: Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for employees at all levels. Facilitate discussions, answer questions, and address individual concerns. Remain up to date on the latest industry trends and community best practices: Continuously research and incorporate new information from industry insiders, current events, and the evolving best practices for delivery of advanced skills training. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs: Develop and implement methods for measuring training effectiveness and learner comprehension. Analyze data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and enhance future training programs. Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with government client and various supported organizations to align training programs with organization mission and readiness initiatives. Communicate effectively with stakeholders about forecasting and populating training schedules, updates, and program effectiveness Requirements Active TS/SCI clearance Minimum of 8 years of SOF / IC experience, at least a portion of the experience within the last two years Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of commercial wireless and computer technology, cybersecurity threats, online vulnerabilities, and best practices for digital identity protection. Demonstrates foundational knowledge and conversational poise necessary to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner (e. g. layman’s terms). Demonstrates mastery of learning management systems. Demonstrates understanding of developing engaging and interactive training material. Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Excellent inter-personal, briefing and presentation skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area or an Associate degree with an additional 5 years of related senior level experience. SOF Special Communications / Safe Travelers Course (s) or equivalent. Instructor experience at Joint Certified DoD learning institution. DoD Instructor Certification e.g. SGLC, ITC, AFIC, ITC. Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+ or equivalent.
