Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting a Project Controls Engineer – Remote (3662). Location: Remote (U.S.-based) Navarro Research & Engineering is seeking a Remote Project Controls Engineer to support high-impact federal and commercial programs. This position offers the flexibility to work from your home office while collaborating virtually with project managers, engineers, and leadership teams across the country. As a Project Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and analyzing project schedules and costs. You will leverage modern project management tools such as Microsoft Project and ClickUp to help drive efficiency and ensure successful delivery of projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities ·       Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules in Microsoft Project and ClickUp from a remote environment. ·       Track project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies, ensuring alignment with program objectives. ·       Prepare cost and schedule performance reports, forecasts, and variance analyses. ·       Support project managers with baseline development, change control, and risk assessments. ·       Collaborate virtually with engineering, procurement, and finance teams to integrate cost and schedule data. ·       Provide dashboards, metrics, and progress updates for internal leadership and external clients. ·       Identify and escalate potential schedule and cost risks, recommending corrective actions. ·       Support implementation of project management best practices and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field. 3+ years of experience in project controls, scheduling, or project management support. Proficiency in Microsoft Project for schedule development and analysis. Hands-on experience with ClickUp for task management, workflow optimization, and reporting. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex project data. Experience with earned value management (EVM) principles preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills with proven ability to work effectively in a remote team environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting nuclear projects.
