Senior Administrative Assistant (Temporary to Permanent) - Raleigh [90002512] The North Carolina Education Lottery is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Administrative Assistant (Temp to Perm) to join our dynamic team. All employees must reside in NC within commuting distance of the Raleigh location. This is a hybrid position. Responsibilities: Screening calls, responding to emails, and handling confidential materials and correspondence Preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, and follow-up on action items Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements and registrations for executives and staff Draft internal communications and external correspondence for leadership’s review Preparing purchase requisitions for equipment and software used by agency staff Receipt and review of all invoices prior to circulation for approval and payment Tracking equipment inventory, purchase orders and invoices with specialized budget tracking system Preparing a detailed list of all capital asset equipment and reconciling asset tags to the equipment for record keeping Conducting inventory of supplies required by all staff to fulfill the requirements of their day-to-day tasks Receives and reviews all invoices from prior to circulation for approval and payment Maintain office systems, procedures, and supplies Oversee filing systems (electronic and physical) and ensure document retention compliance Support budget preparation and monitor expenses Prepares registration for conference and workshops Requirements: Completion of an Associate's degree and 5 years of experience Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Ability to interact with internal personnel and external vendors and agencies effectively Skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher Certifications and Licenses: Valid State Driver's License Certificate in Office Administration preferred Hiring Rate: $ 22.33 Closing Date: August 29, 2025 About the North Carolina Education Lottery We raise money for a great cause!
