Position: Operations Manager Location: [Virginia – Multiple Sites] Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Manager to oversee daily operations across residential homes and a day program. This role is best described as an “air traffic controller” — ensuring managers, directors, and staff complete their assigned duties on time and to standard. The Operations Manager does not directly manage staff or handle complex compliance tasks. Instead, this person ensures accountability, follow-up, and smooth coordination between leadership and program teams. Key Responsibilities Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to ensure they are completed. Track open action items and follow up with managers and directors. Review staffing schedules, documentation, and reports (attendance, logs, incident notes). Conduct walkthroughs to check safety, cleanliness, and program engagement. Serve as a central point of communication between leadership and staff teams. Escalate concerns when duties are not fulfilled and suggest improvements. Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Business, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in operations, human services, healthcare, or related work. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and follow-up abilities. Ability to multitask and manage oversight across multiple sites. Comfortable with basic technology (scheduling systems, Google Drive, task tracking tools). Compensation & Schedule Salary range: $60,000 – $65,000 annually, based on experience. Full-time, exempt position with benefits. Site visits and occasional after-hours follow-up as needed.
