Grellis Construction is seeking a skilled Construction Secretary to support our growing home remodeling business. We’re looking for someone with solid construction or trades experience who can work independently, troubleshoot issues, and manage projects efficiently using technology beyond basic computer skills. 📍 Location: Temple Hills, MD 💰 Pay: $42,000 – $45,000 per year (based on experience) ⏰ Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 4:30 PM 🚗 Must have reliable transportation 🗂️ Experience Required: Minimum 7 years of administrative experience (construction/trades preferred) Key Responsibilities: Handle phone calls, emails, and scheduling efficiently Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors Manage job files, permits, invoices, and change orders Track project progress and assist with material orders Support field staff and project managers with administrative tasks Process payroll accurately and on time each week Troubleshoot administrative and scheduling issues independently Ideal Candidate: Has 7+ years of administrative experience, preferably in construction or trades Is professional, organized, and a great communicator Able to manage multiple tasks without constant supervision Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets, and scheduling software, salesforce experience is a plus) Works well under pressure and can juggle multiple tasks Has a strong attention to detail Comfortable solving problems and finding solutions independently Has reliable transportation and can travel locally as needed This list is not exhaustive; additional responsibilities may be assigned.
