Description

A small law firm in downtown Millbrae seeks a full-time Legal Assistant. The desired candidate should have excellent written and verbal skills. The position requires excellent client/customer service as the position is the interface with the firm’s clientele. The law firm environment requires a multi-tasker who can perform well in an extremely fast-paced environment. Duties include: - Administrative support and reception duties - Data Entry - Liaising with clients, attorneys, and court staff - Drafting letters - Taking dictation for legal documents - Calendaring cases - Traveling to various courthouses Desired skills and characteristics: - Highly organized and independent; accuracy is a must. - Problem solver who works well under pressure. - Communication skills, both written and verbal. - Good telephone etiquette required. - Computer literacy.
