We are a Property Management Company located in the Park Ave neighborhood. In search of a Maintenance Technician to join our team! Must be reliable. Work would involve overseeing and completing general repairs to apartments (painting, plumbing, electrical, drywall/plaster repair, general carpentry). Ability to troubleshoot problems with HW Tanks and Furnaces a plus!! Work may also include apartment cleanouts and maintenance to grounds and exteriors of buildings. 2-3 years experience needed. High School or GED required. NYS Drivers License and reliable vehicle required. Shared on-call responsibilities that rotate. Responsibilities: 1. General Repairs Plumbing – Fixing leaks, unclogging drains, replacing faucets, repairing toilets. Electrical – Changing light fixtures, replacing outlets/switches, troubleshooting power issues. HVAC – Maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units. Appliances – Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, washers/dryers. Carpentry – Repairing doors, cabinets, flooring, trim, and other woodwork. 2. Preventive Maintenance Conducting routine inspections of units, hallways, and building systems. Servicing HVAC units seasonally. Replacing air filters, smoke detector batteries, and light bulbs before they fail. 3. Resident Service & Communication Responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner. Explaining repair processes and timelines to residents. Being respectful and professional when entering tenant homes. 4. Turnovers & Unit Prep Repairing apartments between tenants. Painting, patching walls, and replacing flooring as needed. Checking that all appliances and systems are functional before move-in. ​Qualifications: Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields - 2 to 3 years Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment Ability to handle physical workload Deadline and detail-oriented
