This position is responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the property and ensuring a safe, comfortable living environment for residents. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and emergency maintenance of apartment units and common areas. Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance issues. Complete service requests promptly and efficiently, maintaining communication with management and residents. Perform preventative maintenance, including seasonal property inspections and upkeep. Assist with apartment turnovers, including painting, drywall repair, cleaning, and appliance installation. Ensure property grounds and building exteriors are clean, safe, and presentable. Qualifications: 2+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily housing or a similar environment. Knowledge of general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances. WHAT YOULL NEED DAY ONE: Minimum of one year experience in a customer service, sales, or retail position required Knowledge of Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) preferred Strong math skills required Strong typing and computer skills with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required Professional verbal and written communication skills required Experience or knowledge in leasing or real estate a plus. Ability to close a sale is highly preferred Knowledge of tax credit, fair housing, and trade practices a plus. Experience using Yardi or other related property management accounting software a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
