This community is a Section 42 Tax Credit property with income averaging requirements, so we are seeking a leader who not only understands the compliance side of affordable housing but also brings energy, professionalism, and passion to the role. What You’ll Do - Lead all aspects of daily community operations with professionalism and care. - Drive leasing success by ensuring apartments are marketed and occupied quickly. - Oversee resident relations, ensuring every household feels valued and supported. - Manage rent collection, operating expenses, and property performance. - Supervise and inspire a team of three onsite staff members. - Ensure timely and accurate processing of resident re-certifications. - Partner with vendors and contractors to maintain high property standards. - Maintain compliance with affordable housing regulations and Fair Housing laws. - Keep accurate payroll, reporting, and financial records for the property. What We’re Looking For - 3+ years of property management experience (affordable housing experience strongly preferred). - Familiarity with Section 42 Tax Credit compliance and income averaging requirements. - Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant and Fair Housing laws. - Excellent organizational, time management, and leadership skills. - Tech-savvy with MS Office and property management software. - Customer-focused mindset with a passion for building community.
