Overview: The Parts Coordinator plays a vital role in the daily operations of the parts department by assisting customers, managing inventory, and maintaining strong communication with internal teams and manufacturers. This position requires strong organizational and customer service skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service & Sales Support Greet customers and answer incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner. Assist retail and internal service customers in identifying and selecting appropriate parts. Provide accurate price quotes and part details in person or over the phone. Process transactions quickly and correctly using dealership systems. Vendor & Manufacturer Coordination Communicate effectively with corporate purchasing and service departments. Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors to fulfill part orders and resolve discrepancies. Notify technicians and customers when special ordered parts arrive. Inventory Replenishment & Accuracy Pull and fill orders from inventory stock. Restock assigned parts bins daily and monitor back-ordered items. Notify management of out-of-stock or low-supply items requiring immediate attention. Documentation & Process Management Maintain accurate and organized records of all parts orders and customer interactions. Ensure proper version control and tracking for frequently used parts and SKUs. Follow dealership protocols for tagging, labeling, and shelving parts. Team Collaboration & Department Support Support the parts and service team with internal communications and process improvements. Assist with special projects, clean-up tasks, and seasonal inventory efforts. Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to overall department success. Requirements Experience in retail parts, service department, or inventory management preferred. Familiarity with RV, automotive, or powersports industries is a plus. Strong computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace. Previous cash handling experience is a bonus. Excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to work weekends and adapt to a high-traffic environment. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to occasionally lift between 10-50 pounds. Benefits Competitive salary based on experience. The Inventory Control Associate will be accountable for deploying a rigorous inventory management program at Hamilton Kent, to include cycle counts, performing audits, root cause analyses and inventory adjustments while working cross-functionally with warehouse, procurement, manufacturing and logistics teams.  The Inventory Control Associate will be responsible for inbound receiving of direct materials, ensuring handling units are printed and affixed as well as system receipts are completed. This person will collaborate extensively with the Distribution Center Manager and Distribution Center Coordinator to maintain inventory integrity, system alignment, and compliance.
