The Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) is seeking a highly skilled Operations & Systems Engineer to join its Health Insurance Exchange (HIX) team. This essential role ensures the performance, availability, and reliability of mission-critical systems by driving proactive system monitoring, timely issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Operations & Systems Engineer is integral to maintaining operational excellence across HIX’s infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Proactively monitor system availability, capacity, and performance using Dynatrace and complementary tools. Investigate and analyze performance issues; assess severity and ensure appropriate escalation and resolution. Configure and manage Dynatrace dashboards, custom alerts, and performance tracking metrics (e.g., response time, throughput, error rates). Identify performance degradation early through alerting mechanisms and support rapid remediation. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, vendors, architects, and the PMO to resolve operational issues. Support daily operations, including production system maintenance and patch management. Perform data updates and generate both ad-hoc and scheduled reports using SQL and tools such as Toad or SQL Developer. Develop and manage project plans and timelines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs. Document systems processes and contribute to the development of operations best practices. Oversee User Access Request processes for systems, databases, and monitoring tools. Manage digital certificate lifecycle and updates in coordination with vendors. Maintain a comprehensive software inventory with version tracking and update planning. Create professional reports and presentations using Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Ensure compliance with EOHHS IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements. Requirements Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex IT issues using enterprise monitoring tools, with Dynatrace experience required. Strong technical background in systems operations, monitoring, and performance optimization. Familiarity with AWS, Amazon QuickSight, and scripting languages (e.g., Linux Shell, Python) for automation. Solid understanding of APM (Application Performance Monitoring), synthetic monitoring, and log analytics. Experience interpreting and creating technical diagrams, including ERDs and architectural diagrams. Hands-on experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, and project tracking tools like JIRA. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Effective at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. Education & Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 5–8 years of relevant experience in operations or systems engineering roles. Experience supporting production environments with mission-critical applications, preferably in government or highly regulated sectors. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project). I need a electrical plan for submittal on a TI project. They are being sticklers, slapped me a laundry list of corrections. We have plans in CAD looking for someone to take our as built project and make us a electrical plan. It's a small single unit project and not looking to reinvent the wheel.

This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and or as necessary. In addition to the responsibilities below, the DDC Systems Specialist III performs routine and complex technical duties in troubleshooting and repairing of components within building automation field cabinets, sensors, and related controls. They may work under the supervision of a higher-level building automation technician and are expected to maintain all responsibilities and attributes of lower-level technicians. This role will work out in the field. Essential Functions: An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation. Troubleshoot and make necessary repairs to building-automation-system field cabinets, including communication devices, printed circuit boards, power supplies, electrical/electronic controls, sensors, and transducers. Safely perform point-to-point checkout per department standards, e.g., use multimeter to check continuity and/or resistance of sensors, verifying sensors with calibrated meters, breaking connection at end devices to verify IO channel assignments, verifying valve stroke and fail positions, etc. Mentor lower-level technicians to maintain these standards. Take initiative and responsibility for the checkout of end devices, module configuration, and troubleshooting network related issues. Responsible for the startup of simple to complex automation systems and mechanical equipment. Understands various protocols that may be integrated into the building automation system. Able to make complex program and graphic changes to meet specification and sequence. Have a thorough understanding of various protocols that may be integrated into the building automation system. Communicate technical issues to management, project managers and/or more senior level technicians. Maintain field markups, and coordinate field markups from lower-level techs. Able to document, demonstrate and exercise systems for third party commissioning support and testing. Provide project demonstration and training as required for customers. Report to work on time and ready to perform assigned tasks. Perform necessary database tasks such as backups, clippings, troubleshooting and exporting of files. Maintain company tools, test equipment, and material. Create thorough daily reports, per project or daily duty, and submit to Albireo project team and Operations Supervisor. Mentors and sets a good example for lower-level technicians. Attends and contributes to project meetings, as necessary. Looks for opportunities to keep the project moving forward. Communicate with jobsite personnel from other trades to complete project objectives. Take part in solutions-based discussions with owners and project stakeholders both inside and outside the company.
