Security Guards Needed $18-$20 / hour (Thousand Oaks)

We are currently hiring for our new site in Thousand Oaks. Our work environment includes: -Growth opportunities -Opportunity to help people in need -Constant support from field supervisors and management team -Looking for male and female security officers -Bilingual candidates are a plus We are seeking a Security Officer to join our team and ensure the safety of our premises and personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for patrolling the premises, responding to alarms, conducting investigations, and providing customer service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to remain calm in stressful situations, and possess strong problem-solving abilities. We are looking for an individual who is committed to upholding our security protocols and maintaining a safe environment for our staff and customers. Responsibilities: -Monitor security cameras and other surveillance equipment. -Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. -Conduct bag inspections for weapons and contraband. -Utilize metal detector wands -De-escalate intense situations without getting involved physically. -Respond to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances. -Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. -Answer alarms and investigate disturbances. -Must be able to write proficient and detailed incident reports. SHIFT TIMES: Morning Shift: 7am-3pm Swing Shift: 3pm-11pm Graveyard: 11pm-7am WEEKENDS REQUIRED
