Low Voltage Installation Technician (Warminster)

Camera Surveillance / Door Access / Security Alarm Technician The Service Technician will be responsible for installing, service, maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting/diagnostics of Access Control equipment, Camera Surveillance, and Security Alarm systems including but not limited to electrified and non-electrified locks, card readers, ancillary door devices, IP and analog cameras, head-end video recording devices, wired and wireless systems, security alarm, and intercom systems. As a Service Technician, this person is expected to be a highly proactive and skilled individual, and always maintain performance consistent with the company’s core values. This position requires traveling to job sites locally and out of state. Travel expenses such as airfare, rental car, hotels, are booked and covered by the employer. Travel to overnight locations will not exceed nine nights per month. Expectations • Travel to Commercial client sites to install, service, repair, troubleshot and detect access control equipment and IP based video security systems. • Apply all necessary documentation for tracking of service-related issues. • Demonstrate knowledge and skill in the safe use of hand and power tools, analog/digital test equipment and CCTV testing devices. • Demonstrate proficiency in reading and understanding electrical schematics, CAD drawings and related documents for their use in low voltage application. • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers. • Provide phone and on-line remote diagnostic support. • Travel to commercial client sites, with a company issued vehicle or travel arrangements, to perform service. • Perform other duties as assigned by Operations Management What knowledge and skills are required: • High School Degree, Vocational School or equivalent required. • 2+ years of field experience • Understanding of Windows operating systems and overall IT network topology • A highly proactive and skilled individual, and always maintain performance consistent with the core company values. • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast based environment with minimum direction. • Good communication skills for effective interaction with internal & external customers • Strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical and electronics aptitude • Capable of lifting up to 50lbs and work on ladder heights of up to 24’ • Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Be able to work independently or as a team leader. • Good verbal and written communication skills Benefits: • $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 Starting Base Salary Per Year • Simple IRA • Overnight Travel Pay • Meal Allowance When Traveling • Quarterly Performance and Reliability Commission • Paid Vacation (After six months) • Paid Travel Expenses • Paid Holidays Schedule: • Monday to Friday • NO Weekends
