Semi-retired contractor renting a room in a house in walking distance to groceries, restaurants, library, bus, and downtown area. Being a contractor, there is some job-related clutter and materials around the driveway, garage and yard but we try to keep the house clean. The room is upstairs with carpeting, closet, private window, ceiling fan, and locking door. Feel free to paint it. Room is located right next to a bathroom with shower to be shared with upstairs roommates. Downstairs is shared living room and kitchen. Roommates downstairs use separate bathroom and a kitchen in garage. You'll have dedicated space in kitchen and refrigerator. Everyone cleans up after themselves and pretty much does their own thing. Most renters are older adults, most are 420-friendly, some drink, some areas to smoke cigarettes okay. Two large but friendly dogs hang out downstairs or in back yard. If you have a pet, it should be small and should pretty much live in your room except for taking it on walks. Monthly rent of $950 includes all utilities and wi-fi. Ideal renter has consistent income, pays rent on time, is respectful and a good communicator. For the right person, may be willing to make a deal regarding deposit.
