Household of young professionals is looking to fill one room in our 4 bedroom house near Annadel Park, on Mayette Ave. near Whole Foods. WE ARE: A tidy, considerate household in its 30s with a mellow, 2yo dog named Niko. Readers, thinkers, makers, craftspeople LGBTQIA+ welcome. Current housemates are two full-time employed artists and one full-time mechanical engineer. Alina, 34NB, painter (employed as a field biologist), Yarrow, 30F, goldsmith (employed as a bench jeweler), and new addition Jeetu, 30M (mechanical engineer). We like cooking, hiking, and gardening. The living room is set up for maximum cozy reading time, so if that appeals to you, we'll probably get along. We would like to design our shared areas with housemates who will be with us for a long while, to create spaces that everyone wants to spend time in. YOU ARE: The perfect candidate is a quiet, respectful, collaborative housemate - someone who likes the sound of occasional shared dinner, conversation, clean+tidy common areas and kitchen, and a rotating chore schedule. THE ROOM Private room, 10'x10', vinyl plank flooring, decent-sized closet, and a bathroom shared with two others. $800/Month plus utilities. Rent is month-to-month, security deposit is one (1) month's rent. Utilities (garbage, water, PG&E, internet) are split evenly among housemates, and cost about $150-$200/person/month with seasonal variability. HOUSE INFO: The house is a 4 bedroom with 2 bathrooms, has a comfy living room with a fireplace, garage, large screened in patio, and a pleasant garden area. There is an outbuilding in the backyard that our friend and property owner uses to teaches kid's music lessons M-Th afternoons (sound hasn't been an issue). Teacher and students do not access the house or patio. MORE DETAILS: * Large shared back yard w/ fig, plum, kumquat, pomelo, lemon, and apricot trees * raised garden beds and an drip irrigation system (and space for you if you have a green thumb). * 2 Fridges - one in kitchen, one in the garage (share fridge with one person) * Dishwasher * Washer & dryer * AC/heater * Ample Street Parking plus driveway * Storage space in garage * Garage has currently been converted into a common social space. It's insulated, carpeted, and furnished with a couch - plus a place to hang a projector and a white wall for showing movies.
