The house is in the Preston area of Cary, just across from the golf course. It’s a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the greenway and a short walk from Bond Park. Also easily walkable to nearby restaurants and a Lowe’s Foods. There are two other guys living in the home - both working professionals. Household dynamics are important to this shared living situation. Not saying you would all be best friends, though would expect you to be respectful with things like cleaning up after yourself in the kitchen and not leaving clothes in the laundry. And while guests are encouraged (there is a spare bed in the bonus room), it is important that the other guys are aware of who is coming and going. Think more of a cousin crashing for a few days vs. a girlfriend spending five nights a week. We are looking for a single, working professional guy to rent a room in our home. This rental situation is a bit unique. You wouldn’t just be renting a room, you’d be sharing a home. While the room itself is not furnished, the rest of the home is. There is a big screen TV, leather couch and recliner in the living room. A separate laundry room with washer, dryer, sink and hanging rack. Though, if you do have some of your own household furniture - there is plenty of room for that too (either in a common area or in storage upstairs). Monthly rent is $750 plus your share of utilities (currently running at $165/month). The room is available now, though move-in date may be negotiable based on your situation. Here are the details on the house: 2,600 square foot, three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms Spacious, open concept living room that adjoins the eat-in kitchen Large kitchen with plenty of counter space, cabinets and a separate pantry Screened-in porch off the side of the kitchen Separate dining room with wet bar Back deck that overlooks fenced in backyard with good tree coverage for privacy Two car garage, four car driveway and street parking Utilities (including Google Fiber) are shared among the household If interested, reach out with your questions. Looking forward to connecting and getting a chance to show you the place. NOTE: Please check your junk folder after you email, since my replies often get flagged.
