Looking for a housemate to fill the back stand alone room for a 6-9 month sublet, possibly longer depending on pending circumstances. The room is in the garden, cute and bright! It has a mini fridge and a sink (which goes to grey water line to the garden plants so only appropriate biodegradable soaps allowed.) The main house is a small 750 sq ft house that is occupied by me, a mid-aged cis woman and a senior cat. I am a gardener, dancer, milliner, and lover of craft! We will be sharing the kitchen and bath. There is also an outdoor shower for the so inclined. I am looking for someone quiet yet friendly, communicative, clean, and responsible. I am open to having occasional dinners together. I dream of hosting quarterly brunches, maybe you’re into that? Also a plus if you love cats as my cat is a lover (and a punk) and I would love to trade for occasional cat sitting if you are interested. The room can come furnished almost as shown in the photo. (Right now I have a double bed, not a twin as in photo.) I am also open to it not being furnished too. Let’s talk! Guests are limited to a max of 4 nights a month unless arranged together previously. No smoking, no additional pets. Utilities are split 50/50 and depending on the month are about $150-$200 each. The house is in a great location: walking distance to grocery stores, bus lines and the beach!
