Job Responsibilities: Help to ship, receive, sort, move, manage, test, and repack inventory for thousands of unique orders per day. Receive palletized and loose box truck and container shipments. Unload and sort goods. Move merchandise throughout the warehouse as necessary and inventory goods on a quarterly basis. Sort pick tickets, walk aisles, and accurately pick merchandise for shipment. Accurately pack a minimum of 50 unique orders per hour into the correct packaging for shipment. Maintain a clean work area and sweep, re-stock, and clean the warehouse daily. Assist with product testing, repacking, and sorting of defective merchandise. Assist with various other related tasks as assigned by the Floor Supervisor or Warehouse Manager. Requirements Basic Requirements: Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent. Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license with a good driving record. Must possess high school level math and reading skills and be able to read and write English. Must be comfortable working on his/her feet for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds on a regular basis sometimes on raised surfaces. Must be able to comfortably bend, kneel, and reach for items on deep shelves. Must be able to carry heavy items up and down ladders and step stools. Preferred Qualifications: 1 or 2 years of professional industry experience working in a busy warehouse or distribution facility. An appreciation for simple solutions to complex problems. An ability to build professional, constructive, and effective working relationships as well as a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and be assertive in implementing successful management strategies. An ability to set objectives and goals and organize work appropriately to meet and exceed goals. Possess strong organizational and time management skills. Benefits Pay range: $17.00 per hour. Perform visual inspections to identify and evaluate potential defects. Identify and escalate failures or unexpected behaviors to the Engineering Team within defined response time. Monitor and maintain testing equipment and calibrate as needed. Participate in troubleshooting and identifying causes with Engineers and Technicians. Accurate documentation of the data. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives towards better efficiency and safety. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow safety guidelines for handling battery components. Requirements Proficient in use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Comfortable performing manual tasks requiring precision and manual dexterity. Basic understanding of electrical connections and testing software. Proficient in troubleshooting and problem solving. Follow technical instructions for test procedures precisely and document results accurately. Motivated to new challenges and embrace learning new techniques and refining existing techniques.
