Position Purpose: Responsible for driving student workers to and from their Corporate Work Study Program (CWS) jobs. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Ensure the school buses have gas and are properly maintained. Drive 8 to 10 students on a scheduled route throughout Portland, Beaverton, and Vancouver to and from their job assignments. Drive approximately 2 hours in the morning from 8:00 am to 10:00 am and approximately 2 hours in the afternoon from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, as needed (5 days/week, approximately 4-5 hours per day). Required Qualifications: Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to pass a type 20 application and background check through the Oregon Department of Education. Must be able to work independently, with limited instruction. Must be able to communicate verbally with others in an appropriate manner. Must be able to report to work on time and complete daily tasks and an online timesheet.

Position: Part-Time Transportation Specialist to transport children Job Description: We are currently seeking a responsible and reliable part-time driver to transport children. As a driver for our organization, your primary responsibility will be ensuring the safe and timely pick up & drop off of children ages 0-17 to and from their designated locations. Key Responsibilities: *Safely operate a vehicle (we prefer no older than 10 years) to transport children to and from school, extracurricular activities, appointments, and other specified destinations. *Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a cautious and defensive driving approach at all times. *Ensure the comfort and safety of the children during transit. *Communicate effectively with Routing and Service Providers; and children of different ages or developmental levels. *Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure it is in good working condition and report any issues to the Director of Transportation. *Follow established procedures for handling emergencies or unforeseen situations during transportation. *Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior & exterior.
