Summary We are currently interested in hiring multiple skilled Owner/Operator Truck Drivers to join our dynamic team at our terminal in the Council Bluff, IA area. This position is vital for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of freight across designated routes. As a Truck Driver, you will play an essential role in maintaining our reputation for quality service. Responsibilities Plan routes and meet delivery schedules efficiently. Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems and equipment. Maintain accurate records and other expenses. Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding transportation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status. Responsibilities Qualifications Qualifications: • CDL Class A required • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents • In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency. • Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required. • This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
