RMC is hiring a Quality Assurance Analyst to support our Navy customer in Indian Head, MD. Responsibilities may include: Assist with performing quality assessments to ensure products meet quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.  Work with individuals or teams to facilitate root cause analysis and support the team to identify issues and put corrective actions in place; performing audits on corrective actions and root causes to validate if the processes are improving. Assist in enforcing the counterfeit material program. Participate as a quality engineer on the engineering review panel for projects. Assisting the quality director to initiate/schedule branch audits in conjunction with the branch managers/Quality POC in each department and construct a report that identifies gaps in the QMS system at a branch level. Working with divisions and branches to audit a particular process from planning to execution to delivery that will identify quality gaps in the lifecycle of a project starting with the capabilities demonstration projects. Preparing and disseminating reports for each audit performed. Collaborating with design and manufacturing teams to implement design improvements. Gathering feedback from departments/divisions/branches based on new standards and updated processes and incorporating it into instructions for how business should be conducted to produce a quality product. Helping to identify the correct input from the audits that will provide metric information for the command dashboard so issues and mitigations can be easily identified for command projects. Coordinating with production teams to prioritize quality objectives. Assisting the quality director in monitoring production processes to identify and address quality issues promptly. Assisting the quality director in ensuring that production meets quality standards and regulatory requirements. Working with the quality representative in charge of the DR database to pull reports for cost of poor quality and be able to provide that information/report as a metric to project managers for use with future accurate cost estimating and project planning. Develop and maintain a spreadsheet for tracking continuous improvement initiatives across departments and identifying any intersections between other departments, processes, or projects. Gathering information or criteria to feed a lessons-learned database or report which is accessible by all departments for use in project planning. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical field, plus 3 years of relevant experience. Direct experience supporting a Quality Management System. Some experience with ISO 9001 required; formal ISO 9001 training is ideal. An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start.
