For more information, visit the company website at https://amprius.com/about/   Summary As a Battery Manufacturing Quality Manager, you have ownership of the Quality Management System (QMS) and lead the team to ensure this system is continually improved to maximize product yield and customer quality.  You will also play a key role in process troubleshooting and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.   Job Responsibilities  Oversee and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance and customer requirements. Serve as the process owner and subject matter expert for key elements for the QMS, CAPA, and other quality assurance principles. Lead quality improvement and continuous improvement projects related to increasing yield rates and product reliability. Responsible for internal and external audits. Perform regular audits against documented information and industry standards. Drive Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action & Preventive Action (CAPA) for internal and external issues. Manages the nonconforming material handling process to ensure that dispositions are completed, and corrective actions are launched when applicable. Manages the change control process so that documented information is updated and communicated in a timely manner. Updates documented information based on audit findings and change requests. Establishes process control parameters and feedback mechanisms in production steps to assure quality outputs. Strategically implements inspection and data collection points. Oversee Equipment Qualification and Process Validations. Responsible for quality and safety-related trainings for the employees.  Fields customer and 3rd party auditors of the Quality Management System Supervisory Duties: Manage the Quality Assurance team (Engineer & Technician). Responsible for training, mentoring, and staffing needs of the team. Requirements Has solid understanding of Quality Management Systems and international quality system standards Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment and helping drive improvements. Ability to execute projects with minimal direction. Skilled at prioritizing and focusing so work gets done efficiently. Solid verbal and written communication skills. Respectful and relatable to team members with a positive outlook. Able to lead a culture of quality Education, Certifications, Experience BS in Engineering or Technical degree such as Manufacturing, Chemistry, etc. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with IS0-9001 and AS9100 quality standards Professional Quality Certifications and Credentials preferred. Supervisor/Manager Experience.   Physical Demands & Work Location: Fremont, CA: This is an on-site job. Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work is required. Be able to lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. May be required to stand, sit, squat, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, reach, lift, balance, push, and pull. May need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, a lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, respirator and safety shoes. Work performed in an office environment and requires ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards Benefits Comprehensive compensation package includes base salary + generous RSUs.
