What We Are Looking For: The Normal Brand is seeking a detail-oriented Production Assistant to support our Product team. This role is focused on tracking purchase orders, maintaining cost records, and communicating daily with vendors to help keep production on schedule. Requirements Track purchase orders from issuance through delivery, ensuring on-time production and accurate shipment updates Maintain production calendars and WIP (work-in-progress) reports across vendors Communicate daily with vendors, agents, and logistics partners (DHL/FEDEX) to confirm timelines, resolve issues, and relay updates internally Monitor and update cost sheets and manage cost updates throughout development and production across multiple vendors and internally Maintain accurate records for sample orders, fabric commitments, and production milestones Maintain and update internal systems and trackers to ensure data is current and organized Make inventory-related decisions, including bulk replenishment approvals and fabric shortage management Cross functional collaboration with any of our retail channels including PO writing/tracking, Product knowledge assets, additional sample requests/tracking, and external invoice approvals. We stole that from a book written by a guy much smarter than us. In addition, to the HHS requirements for all teammates, for this role, here are some other things we are looking for: 1–2 years of experience in a production, sourcing, or operations support role Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable working in Excel and tracking multiple timelines Effective written and verbal communication skills Bonus Points: Experience working in a fast-growing startup or founder-led brand.
