Relocation assistance is available to support your move. As a Surveying Project Manager at JBPro, you will be responsible for managing surveying projects and overseeing one of the project teams within the Surveying Department. Reporting to the Director of Surveying, you will oversee project execution, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain adherence to industry standards.   The Project Manager assists the Director with scheduling surveying crews, providing quality assurance for deliverables, and coordinating with staff, clients, sub-consultants, and government entities. This role requires independent decision-making in project management while supporting the overall strategic direction of the department. Join us and make a lasting difference in the community through your contributions.  What You’ll Do:  Create work plans for each project, outlining scope, timeline, and resource requirements.  Schedule and manage project activities and personnel to ensure efficient operations and timely deliverables.  Assist the Director of Surveying in preparing proposals, pricing, and client communications as necessary.  Supervise field crews and CAD Technicians, providing guidance and ensuring high-quality outputs.  Maintain regular communication with clients to provide project updates and address any concerns.  Process and review field data daily, coordinating data transfer to CAD technicians for further processing.  Support onboarding and ongoing training for field crew staff to enhance skills and maintain standards.  Perform both field and office duties as required to meet project demands, demonstrating high flexibility in adapting to varying project needs and environments.  Troubleshoot project issues and implement effective solutions to maintain project progress.  Review survey drawings for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.  Coordinate survey deliveries and invoicing with clients, ensuring timely submission and accuracy.  Actively manage the financial performance of all assigned surveying projects and prepare additional services proposals as needed.  Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  5 years of surveying experience, with at least 3 years in field surveying preferred.  PSM or PLS license in Florida.  Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Civil3D preferred.  Proficiency in Trimble Business Center or similar survey processing software.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong aptitude for client engagement and business development.
