Position Summary Ready to land a role in the fast-growing drone industry? Join our team as a Receiving Associate and play a key part in keeping our operations soaring. The Receiving Associate is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming shipments of materials, components, and equipment used in drone manufacturing and distribution. This role ensures inventory accuracy, proper storage, and timely communication with purchasing, quality control, and production teams. Key Responsibilities Receive and unload incoming shipments of fully built drones, raw materials, drone components, tools, and supplies. Print PO from VMS system, verify shipments against purchase orders, packing lists, and invoices to ensure accuracy of quantity and description. Inspect incoming goods for visible damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues to the appropriate department. Sort and separate received shipment, place parts in plastic bins and properly label them. Process DHL shipments according to SOP include attaching physical label from the shipping box to the correct PO. Properly label and route materials to designated storage areas within the warehouse. Physical transport and stock materials and parts in correct locations in accordance with the PO Work with team members to ensure that sensitive electronic and drone parts meet company standards. Maintain accurate receiving and inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS). Discrepancies WAV (work assist vehicle), pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment safely. Comply with all safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements (including ESD handling procedures for electronic components). Collaborate with purchasing, pick and pack shipping teams to resolve receiving discrepancies. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics or warehouse operations preferred. 1–2 years of experience in receiving, warehouse, or inventory management (manufacturing or drone industry experience a plus). Basic knowledge of supply chain and warehouse operations. Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and operate warehouse equipment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while performing receiving and inventory tasks. Capability to lift, carry, push, and pull packages, parts, and materials weighing up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing ladders or step stools to retrieve or store materials. Manual dexterity to handle small drone components, packaging materials, and labeling equipment. Visual acuity to inspect shipments, read packing slips, and verify part numbers. Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, carts). Comfort working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment may include varying temperatures, moderate noise, and the use of safety equipment. May require use of PPE (gloves). Occasionally overtime to meet production or shipping schedules.
