Run distillation units by connecting feed, product, and sludge tanks and apply proper amount of heat from boilers and maintain operating hourly logs to insure that unit is operating at peak efficiency Conducts Solvent recovery for the chemical manufacturing production units via a trio of distillation columns Charge and discharge pot stills with appropriate gallon amounts of liquid to run product to specifications Basic knowledge and understanding of Plant Utilities to include but not limited to:  Steam/Condensate, Cooling Water, Chilled Water, Nitrogen, Air Drier and Compressors, and Process Water Basic knowledge and understanding of common plant equipment to include but not limited to:  Condensers, Heat Exchangers, Safety Vents, Conservation Vents, Rupture Discs, Control Valves, Automatic On/Off Valves, Centrifugal Pumps, Diaphragm Pumps, and Various Valves (Ball Valves, Butterfly Valves, Gate Valves). Basic knowledge and understanding of Distillation Columns and their Operations. Ability to learn or previous working experience with ERP Systems such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards to be able to enter Work Orders for equipment repairs and coordinating with the Maintenance Department. Basic knowledge and understanding of Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations is a plus, but not required. Basic knowledge and understanding of the following Control Devices is a plus, but not required:  Steam Stripper for the stripping of solvents from wastewater, Thermal Oxidizer / Ground Flare, and Cryogenic Condenser. Working experience with Safe Work Permits, Hot Work Permits, Line Break Permits, Lock-Out Tag-Out Permits, and Confined Space Permits. Documentation skills and techniques.  Ability to record information in Log Books and record data/information in Batch Sheets. Basic knowledge and understanding in pulling representative samples (liquid samples) from process operations. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of warehouse operations, including the receiving, sorting, and assembling of our premium water treatment products. Communicate inventory discrepancies, shortages, or delays to the appropriate stakeholders. • Order Fulfillment: Retrieve requested materials from inventory based on work orders or requisitions. Prepare materials for distribution or shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling. Coordinate with other departments to fulfill material request in a timely manner and maintain accurate documentation. • SAP knowledge such as inventory management, TO’s, pulls for production and troubleshooting. • Can perform receiving transactions, shipping transactions, consumptions, and reversals. • Ability to utilize Raymond racking system. • SAP knowledge to reprint handling units. • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies. Monitor stock levels, identify low inventory situations, and initiate replenishment processes as necessary. Utilize inventory management systems or software to track materials and ensure adequate supply availability. • Cleaning and Sanitization: Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of all designated areas within the facility, including floors and common areas. • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that materials and equipment are properly stored, and waste is disposed • Perform other duties as assigned. Position Requirements • 3-5 years of experience as a Materials Handler or similar role in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. • Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts stand up, pallet jacks, or hand trucks, with appropriate certifications if required. • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate inventory records and manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to materials handling. • Compliance with health and hygiene standards, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required. • Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in a physically demanding environment.
