Principal Responsibilities With training, set-up, operate and troubleshoot all fabricating machines. Set up of molds and the machines for all lines. Lifting and moving large, heavy diameter saws. Identify material problems ensuring that the product can be manufactured within the standard requirements of the Company’s Quality Control program. Accurately set the process parameters. Remove all scrap materials from the manufacturing areas to the designated storage areas, ensuring that material is stored in a logical and orderly fashion. Housekeeping around the area and machines. Inspect and report potential unsafe or hazardous conditions. Troubleshoot problems that involve multiple-choice options and determine the most appropriate course of action. Support and stay in sync with the efforts of the Joint, Health & Safety Committee (JHSC). Perform a variety of other tasks as needed. Requirements Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred, however, full training will be provided Must be knowledgeable in basic math Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Must be a self-starter with good interpersonal and verbal communication skills coupled with an eagerness to learn Good team player including with a demonstrated ability to contribute to and foster a positive team environment Working knowledge of Health and Safety practices is helpful.
