Food Production Worker (South San Francisco)

1st Shift Production Job Description Join our team as a 1st Shift Production worker, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our operations. This position requires working from 2 AM to 10:30 AM, offering a unique opportunity for individuals who thrive in early hours. Responsibilities Prep and assemble products according to specifications. Comply with HACCP-plan and food safety requirements. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Ensure that cases and pallets are configured safely and meet standard requirements. Maintain a scheduled production flow to achieve team business goals. Demonstrate regular and consistent punctual attendance. Notify management of any potential food safety or quality issues. Handle standardized situations with minimal variation effectively. Display strong attention to detail. Understand and adhere to written and verbal policies, guidelines, specifications, and safety standards. Work overtime as required, even on short notice. Adapt to a flexible schedule based on production needs, with potential start time variations of up to 2 hours. Utilize basic math skills. Operate manual and automated processing equipment. Communicate with management regarding work-related or personal issues. Follow strict safety, food security, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Perform additional duties as assigned. Essential Skills Ability to handle standardized situations with minimal variation. Attention to detail. Comprehension of written and verbal policies, guidelines, specifications, and safety standards. Basic math and English language skills. Ability to communicate effectively with management. Strict adherence to safety, food security, and GMP standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in general labor, packaging, food production, food manufacturing, and food handling. Ability to perform heavy lifting.
