Job summary: Working in an assembly line environment producing lithium ion batteries for drones, and other Freefly equipment. Minimum required experience: Ability to read English and understand work instructions. Previous experience using hand tools (screw drivers, etc.) Ability and willingness to learn. Ability to multitask, learn a multitude of tasks, and desire to excel. Great attitude and desire to hustle. Ability to solder with basic proficiencies. High attention to detail. JOB DESCRIPTION Granite State Manufacturing is seeking CNC Machinists for our Manchester, NH location. This position will be responsible for the operation of large Doosan CNC VTL machines to make large parts with complex features and tight tolerances in support of our Aerospace, Maritime, & Defense customers. RESPONSIBILITIES Read blueprints, specifications, and work instructions to set up machines, measure parts, load materials, clean tools, etc. to produce finished products according to specifications. Prepare parts by using measuring devices such as swinge gages, dial bores, micrometers, calipers, or dial calipers to determine dimensions of parts. Feed raw materials or components into machine tool by using overhead cranes. Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. Measures, marks, and scribes’ dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining. Selects, aligns, and secures fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials. This is position is responsible for the care, maintenance, and repairs of plant utility equipment and systems in a cGMP manufacturing environment for dietary supplements and cosmetics. Coordinates and performs ongoing preventive and corrective maintenance on various process equipment and critical utility systems in the plant. Requirements Job Duties and Responsibilities Perform repairs on facilities' equipment when it malfunctions: failure diagnosis, analytical trouble-shooting to determine root cause, tear down, repair, and restore operation to a minimum of inconvenience to a served area. Perform preventative maintenance required for all equipment as defined in SOPs in order to keep equipment operating at a high level of quality and reliability.
