Experience with handling of delicate components and equipment, including precision optics, semi-conductor, and fiber optic components Experience training and mentoring others in technical assembly or inspection. Strong understanding of manufacturing quality principles (inspection, GD&T, traceability, process documentation). Comfortable balancing hands-on fabrication with process improvement and knowledge transfer. Comfort and familiarity with standard clean room practices and working in clean rooms Familiarity with optical surface quality specifications: MIL-PRF-13830B and ISO 10110-7 Good dexterity to assemble small components into sub-assemblies Familiarity with optical inspection methodologies, including the use of microscopes, optical comparators, and optical interferometer Experience with basic electronics test and assembly practices, including soldering, PCBA inspection and use of multi meters, oscilloscopes, Ability to inspect parts against technical drawings.
