Shop Hand / Shop Helper Stodtmeister Iron – Sparks, NV Looking for a motivated individual to join our team that is a driving force! We are looking for a reliable shop hand to assist in our steel fabrication shop. This entry-level role is a great opportunity to learn the trade while supporting our fabrication team. Responsibilities: Deburr and clean parts using a grinder and other tools Wipe down and prep materials (remove saw oil, etc.) Assist fabricators with miscellaneous shop tasks Maintain a clean and organized work area Safely handle tools and materials Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn OSHA 10 preferred (or ability to obtain) Previous shop or construction experience a plus, but not required Pay: $18–20/hr, depending on experience Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Medical (100% paid for employee ) Dental Vision Benefits 401k with matching Life Insurance (100% paid for employee) PPE Allowance Annually Paid Holiday & Vacation Schedule: Monday to Friday (with possible overtime) No recruiter and/or temp agency contact please.
