Join the Charger Water Treatment Products team as a Warehouse Manager and play a critical role in our operations in the heart of our logistics team in Knoxville, TN! Your primary focus will be ensuring that all warehouse activities are executed efficiently, from receiving to assembling to delivering our water treatment products to our valued customers. You will lead a skilled team of warehouse staff, optimize processes, and contribute to our commitment to quality service and excellence. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time. Oversee the receipt and inspection of incoming products Maintain optimal inventory levels through regular audits and effective inventory management practices. Implement and maintain efficient logistical processes and systems within the warehouse. Facilitate training and development for warehouse personnel, promoting a safe and productive work environment. Ensure and implement best practices for workplace safety. Assemble our water treatment products Utilize warehouse management software to track inventory and logistics efficiently. Occasionally safely drive our 16' box truck to deliver products to our customers. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm Requirements Proven experience in warehouse management or a related supervisory role. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, supply chain processes, and logistics. Experience leading and managing a team, with excellent interpersonal skills. Proficient in using warehouse management software and tools. Exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Forklift certification is a plus. Occasionally safely drive our 16' box truck to deliver products to our customers. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. Position Responsibilities • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Take corrective actions when necessary to ensure products meet specifications and comply with regulatory requirements. • Equipment Operation: Operate assigned machinery and equipment according to the established procedures and guidelines. This may include but it is not limited to production machines, manufacturing tools, assembly lines, or computer-controlled systems. • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment, to ensure proper functionality and prevent breakdowns. Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions or issues promptly and efficiently. • Production Efficiency: Optimize equipment by adjusting settings, monitoring production rates, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. Minimize downtime by anticipating maintenance needs and coordinating with maintenance staff as required. • Training Expertise: Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective training for Production Operator 1 and 2 team members, and as well as other positions as needed. • Leadership: Leadership qualities to inspire and motivate production operators to achieve high performance. • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment performance, and any incidents or deviations. Complete production reports, logs, and other required documentation as per standard operating procedures. • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication. Share knowledge, insights, and best practices to support continuous improvement initiatives. • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that materials and equipment are properly stored, and waste is disposed appropriately. Ensure the team is working in a clean and neat manner as well. • Material Handling: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies. Safely transport materials to designated area using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks. Organize and store materials in designated locations for easy retrieval and inventory control. • Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks, with appropriate certifications if required. • Perform other duties as assigned and work in other areas as see needed. Position Requirements • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to operate and troubleshoot various types of equipment. • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to equipment operation and maintenance. • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately. • Good problem-solving to detail and the ability to make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey information clearly. • Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in a physically demanding environment. • Compliance with health and hygiene standards, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required. Has beginning to intermediate level setup skills for departmental equipment.   Operates various assigned production centers. Loads material, removes turnings, and maintains specified lubricants and coolants as required. Operates and performs basic set ups on departmental machines such as manual lathes, CNC turning centers, slotters, drill presses, etc. Operates and performs sets up on a variety of customized secondary operation machines, drill presses, thread tapers, dimple presses, washing tanks, broaching presses and honing centers. Inspects articles to verify conformance to specifications. Identifies damaged or inferior quality products. Performs necessary preventive machine maintenance and cleaning. Accurately and reliably maintains all paper work, or data input requirements of the department. Assists in training coworkers on how to operate, adjust, and set up machines. May perform in a temporary lead role. Requirements Skills and Experiences You’ll Need as a CNC Production Machinist 1:   High School diploma or equivalent and 2-3 years similar machining/manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of experience required. Intermediate blueprint reading skills. Ability to read blueprints and measurement gauges to inspect for part conformity. Basic math computation skills. Ability to understand and apply geometric concepts (e.g., angles and degrees) in making basic adjustments or setting up basic tooling and holding fixtures in the laser machines. Good organizational skills and ability to multi task (i.e., operate one machine while setting up another). Ability to read and communicate effectively.   Work Environment for a CNC Production Machinist 1: Work takes place in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and chemicals. Ability to use PPE. Ability to stand or sit for long periods; Good manual dexterity, fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to use full range of motion. The Material Handler is responsible for safely moving material around the plant for production to run smoothly.  Work involves a high degree of alertness and concentration to completes tasks. Work related problems have known solutions but may require some cause-and-effect analysis and can be resolved by using prescribed methods and procedures.  Incumbents may not always control their work pace, and there is time sensitive to finish job tasks. perform multiple tasks throughout the day to ensure safe and quality production. Incumbents will be performing production tasks which may be in a PSM area and be exposed to adverse characteristics in the work environment.
