Operators are responsible for transferring plastic bags into cardboard boxes once produced by the machine. During packing, operators are responsible for performing *quality control* to ensure products are manufactured according to order specifications. Operators are responsible for addressing and adjusting the needs and specifications of each individual order. Work as a team, keep area clean. No experience required. Candidates will receive training. We will provide all necessary tools and equipment to perform daily tasks. Tools and equipment include, but are not limited to: wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, electric forklifts, pallet jacks, air valves, pumps and more. Fabrication Cutter The Cutter is responsible for accurately measuring, marking, and cutting fabrics and materials according to work orders, patterns, or specifications for drapery, soft goods, and other textile-based products, while also assisting in quality inspections throughout the production process. This dual role requires precision, attention to detail, an understanding of fabric properties, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards from start to finish. The Cutter will assist with any phase of manufacturing, including quality control, as needed, under the direction and supervision of the Fabrication Manager. • Proficient in hot knife fabric cutting techniques to ensure clean, sealed edges. • Inspect fabrics for defects before cutting and mark or discard damaged sections. • Follow production schedules to meet deadlines and optimize material usage. • As directed by the Fabrication Manager, assist in any and all phases of manufacturing that may include prep work, sewing, finishing details, organizing materials and supplies, and other tasks as assigned. Required Qualifications: • Bilingual: fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written). • Basic math skills for measurement conversions and calculations. • Proficiency with measuring tools (tape measures, rulers) and cutting equipment. • Experience in a professional sewing department producing custom or standard fabric products. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong time management and task coordination abilities. • Ability to read and interpret work orders, patterns, and diagrams.
