This includes the shift change checklist.  Responsible for initial disposition, tagging, recording, and reporting of nonconforming material in compliance with quality procedures.  Responsible for inspection of as-cast, in process, and finished material in accordance with customer specifications and divisional procedures.  Responsible for determining if material meets specifications (completing appropriate documentation) and directing material to appropriate work cell or area.  Responsible for documentation accuracy regarding material requirements and divisional requirements, (i.e. inspection of finished products).  Responsible for start-up and shut-down procedures.  Responsible for set-up and monitoring of all temperature controls of in-load thermocouples and equipment.  Responsible for customer service duties, as they relate to production.  Responsible for inspection of incoming and outgoing customer parts and containers, inspecting for damaged material, assisting in proper inventory counts, where applicable, and reporting discrepancies.  Responsible for process certifications as directed by Quality Assurance.  Responsible for tagging all new material or specially packaged material with container identification and/or special handling/processing requirements.  Responsible for the accuracy of shipping and receiving paperwork.  Responsible for entering data from shippers and receivers into a database.  Responsible for truck loading and unloading.  Responsible for correct preparation of shipments.  Responsible for correct creation of bills of lading using both the automated and manual systems.  Responsible for performing all required documentation, product inspections, and piece count verifications.  Responsible for physical inventory procedures for both customer products and company supplies.  About the Company: Aalberts has provided commercial metal processing services to a variety of industries since 1978. Conduct quality checks using measuring equipment. • Package parts as specified to ensure proper and safe handling of the product. • Log all rejects on the Attribute Charts. • Review the operator inspection procedure before taking over any job. • Label all boxes after packaging to ensure proper handling of parts. • Ability to use basic measuring Equipment. • Degate and trim parts as required using secondary machinery to accomplish. • Ability to perform secondary operations such as gluing, welding, trimming, and some assembly. • Ability to use part count scale.
