The role and primary responsibilities Job Summary The Operations Manager in logistics is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the supply chain processes, ensuring efficient transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods. This role involves managing teams, coordinating with vendors, and implementing strategies to improve operational performance. A proactive mindset for scaling operations efficiently. Strong leadership skills to manage a team of 12 people and drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Management: Oversee the end-to-end logistics operations, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution. Ensure timely delivery of goods while minimizing costs. Leadership: Strong leadership skills to drive operational excellence. Lead and mentor a team to develop their continuous growth. Foster a collaborative work environment to achieve operational goals. Vendor Coordination: Negotiate contracts with suppliers and transportation providers. Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure service quality. Process Improvement: Leading initiatives that use data and technology to innovate and optimize workflows continuously.
