Aluminum Fabricator/Welder (East Vancouver)

Duties will include deburring aluminum parts. Lapping aluminum parts. Filling up machines with coolant as needed.

Daily maximizing of the allotted time available for production while continuously striving to produce the highest quality product possible. Bringing forward ideas and personal experience to develop the whole as well as other individuals. Assemble and install low voltage led lighting and push thru graphics into signs before shipping out to all parts of the USA. • Provide eight for eight. You are paid for eight hours of work, provide eight of quality production • Be on time. Be clocked in by 7:00am, clock in and out for lunch, clock out at the time that matches the hours reported, produce product in a timely manner • Be accurate. Fabricate exactly to the design specifications report your times and job number accurately, fill out material sheets as accurately as possible and turn them in as soon as you are done with your scope of work • Be Clean. Operating Machinery: This includes setting up, adjusting, and monitoring various machines like CNC machines, milling machines, and lathes. Quality Control: Ensuring parts meet specified dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring tools and inspection techniques. Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on machines, such as cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs. Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues that may arise during the machining process. Following Safety Procedures: Adhering to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Essential Skills: Mechanical Aptitude: A strong understanding of how machines work and how to troubleshoot them. Attention to Detail: Precision is crucial in machine shop work, requiring meticulous attention to detail. Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand part specifications. Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving issues that may arise during the machining process. Safety Awareness: A strong understanding of safety procedures and the ability to work safely in a machine shop environment.

Responsibilities: • Fabricate and assemble chemical feed skids, and water mixing systems • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. • Install and wire electrical systems, including power, control panels, communication circuits and junction boxes, • Maintain a clean and safe working environment Desired Experience: • Strong knowledge of electrical wiring systems, including communication and control systems • Hands-on experience with control panels and wiring • Proficiency in conduit bending, layout, and routing • Familiarity with UL standards, NEC codes, or industrial panel building a plus • Mechanical aptitude and experience with pumps, valves, PVC/CPVC/HDPE piping systems a plus • Ability to work from technical drawings and wiring diagrams • Basic knowledge of plumbing and fitting assembly, including gluing techniques, is preferred Qualifications: • 2+ years of experience in a similar role • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship • High school diploma or GED (technical school a plus) • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet throughout the day • Team-oriented with a good work ethic and a safety-first mindset Benefits: • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Paid time off and holidays • Opportunities for growth and advancement Salary Range $23-27 per hour
