Requirements Receiving Shipments: Inspect incoming shipments for discrepancies and damages and verify contents against shipping documents. Record and report any issues promptly. Preparing Shipments: Package and label outgoing orders accurately, ensuring that all items are prepared according to customer specifications and company standards. Inventory Management: Maintain organized records of all incoming and outgoing shipments, track inventory levels, and assist in inventory audits as needed. Documentation: Complete necessary shipping and receiving paperwork, including bills of lading, packing slips, and inventory logs. Physical Handling: Load and unload delivery trucks and safely handle materials using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to accurately verify and record shipment contents. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members, suppliers, and customers regarding shipping and receiving processes. Physical Stamina: Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods. Technical Skills: Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems is often preferred. Basic computer skills are essential for maintaining records and generating shipping labels. Perform fabrication, assembly, and packaging operations. Principal Responsibilities Fabricate fittings to customer specifications using customized fabricating equipment, hand, power tools, adhesives, and fixtures. Obtain components from stock/production. Set-up equipment to match product requirements. Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment and demonstrate good communication skills. Inspect completed parts.
