Urgent Big Boy dog (Salinas)

?SHELTER FULL?HELP! Rescue needed!! Urgent!! This is Big Boy. He’s five years old and neutered. We know all of this because he is microchipped; however, his owners are not coming for him. He and his housemate are both here (Iggy is up for adoption.) Big Boy passed his behavior and health evaluations. He was briefly on our adoption floor but proved to be a challenge for staff and volunteers; he is 96 lbs and really wants to be out of his kennel. He attempts to push past you when he can and he’s … a lot of dog. He’s stressed here and he needs to find a placement with a rescue partner. This guy is aching for his people and makes soft little whimpers under his breath whenever he sees someone. He cannot get enough pets or hugs. He is good with other dogs, too.
