Chameleon Trees (Breynia disticha) (plants, not animals) (rohnert pk / cotati)

These “trees” are perfect for terrariums!! They love high humidity and being kept moist at all times. In fact, they don’t like drying out at all and will drop leaves. The dense branches are perfect for chameleons, geckos, vine snakes, and other small arboreal animals. These are much denser branched than the usual Ficus trees used…AND WAY LESS FINICKY. As long as they stay moist and a little humid, they thrive!! Perfect for having a water dripper or misting system put on them. The “trees” can get up to 3 feet tall if you let them, with a natural “vase” shape. Excellent size for an adult chameleon. They also do great with being kept pruned down to smaller sizes, even very short. In bright light, the top leaves will be variegated and can show a lot of white and some pink shades too. They are very colorful. I haven’t seen these available anywhere for years. 8” pots planted in my terrarium mix. My terrarium mix holds moisture really well, AND allows for plenty of air flow, which these plants LOVES! If the ad is up, it’s available.
