Any Opinion? Belden Village (San Diego)

addressSan Diego, CA, USA

Description

I was recently hospitalized for fourteen days. An acquaintance .came to visit me. He mentioned having to take the bus because he no longer had a decent bike for transportation. Very ill, and heavily sedated I was unable to think clearly, I offered him my bike. For transportation. When I came home, I saw that he was using the bike. After about three days he was using a different bike. I asked where the bike was and he stated it was locked on the local bike rack. Seeing he had another bike now., And my Doctor suggesting I start my stationary riding again, I asked the guy to bring my bike back. He acted like he was going to get it and disappeared. Roaming the complex I located the bike rack and discovered this guy had started stripping the bike. He took the kick stand, the brake, the fenders a tire and the mirror. I cut the bike lock and brought the bike home. I asked the guy for my parts back. He again acted as though he was going to get them and disappeared. I asked a second time and he asked for another list. When I asked a third time he stated he no longer had the parts and he had every right to do what he wanted with the bike.. Now his piss-ant friends who were not even present when I offered him the use of the bike, want to sit in the background as his cheering section. How can someone stretch the offer of a bike for transportation to a parts store? I realize "No good deed goes unpunished" But I could use some public opinion.
